On 22-07-2024, from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm, a free Unani Medical Camp was organized by the hospital at the place Mahipat Mau – Andhe ki Chowki – Lucknow. In this camp, a total of fifteen patients were examined and treated free of cost, in which the following specialist doctors participated:

· Hakeem Mohammad Akmal (specialist Preventive and Social Medicine)
· Hakeem Manzar Ali (specialist Surgery)
· Mrs. Masarrat Jahan (specialist Gynaecology and Obstetrics), a female doctor in this camp, was on duty but due to some unavoidable reasons, she could not be present.

Apart from this, in this camp, Mr. Mohammad Afzal(pharmacist), Mr. Haseen Khan (Ward-Boy) gave their contribution by their presence during the camp and also gained experience.

On July 20, 2024, in reference to “Peyd Lagao Peyd Bachao” public campaigning, planting of trees was done in HUMC and RC’s herbal garden. The Director (Mr. Muhammad Arif), Principal (Prof. Mashhudur Rahman), all HOD’s of all departments, staff members, and students took part in it.

This initiative, which was taken by the Government of India to protect the environment, was supported by our college, and the tree plantation campaign was implemented on the basis of priority, personal interest, and social responsibility. Approximately 120 tree plantations were done on this occasion. Photos were also taken during the event’s conduct.

Title: Departmental Workshop on BLS( CPR and Artificial Respiration) at Hayat Unani Medical College and Research Center

Content: A departemental workshop was organised on Saturday at Hayat Unani Medical College and Research Center under the guidance of Prof. Syed Mohd Irfan (HOD of physiology department). The event highlighted Basic Life support that included CPR and Artificial Respiration and major pros and cons about it. The event was organised by the students of BUMS 1 prof ( Batch-2023) students that include Huda Rasheed, Abbas Mushtaq, Mohd. Adil, Mohd. Ali Shahid, Mohd. Atif, Anamta Rana, Sana Islam and Mohd. Faisal had made a great contribution under the guidance of Prof. Syed Mohd. Irfan. The event was summarised with the help of presentation, skit as well as live demonstration.
Lastly the Director of the college Mohd. Arif and the Principal Prof. Azma Qureishi presented their views about the topic and the program through a detailed speech.The program was concluded with a felicitation ceremony of the participants. The event was covered in several newspapers on the next day.

Today, on the date 18-11-2021, on Thursday, the place Panchayat house was completed in Salempur Amethia Kakori Lucknow. In which the total number of patients was 81. Dr. Afsar Hussain Khan, Dr. Mantasha
Bint Siraj and Dr. Akmal were present and examined the patients and treated them smoothly. Distribution of free Unani medicines to the patients was done by Mr. Ali Mohd Zaidi, in addition to this; he contributed fully under the supervision of Arvind Kumar in the camp.

Apart from this, the gardener Ram shankar and the bus driver also gave their full cooperation. At the camp site, Pradhan Ji made his contribution by appearing and while inspecting, got information about the camp from all the doctors. and agreed to your satisfaction. BUMS student gave his support and gained experience in treatment and treatment by staying with the doctor. The total number of BUMS students was 52 .

Students of Hayat Unani Medical College & Research Centre were victorious in winning 2nd Prize & Hakim Abdul Aziz Trophy by Participating in Academic & Cultural programmes which are been organized on occasion of Unani week celebration (National Unani Day) event at State-Takmeel-ut-Tib College & Hospital Lucknow from 11th to 15th February 2020 in which various events like Unani Debate, Tibbi Quiz competition, Essay writing competition etc, were organized. The students were also appreciated & applauded for the same at the college by Mr. Mohammad Arif Director Hayat Unani Medical College & Research Centre.

A Workshop Cum CME on “Ancient wisdom & Modern Medicine" was held at Hayat Unani Medical
College & Research Centre. The Chief Guest for the inaugural function was Dr.Mohammad Shahid
Malik. Director, Regima Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. He also delivered lecture which was aimed to update
the knowledge on the ancient wisdom & modern medicine among the healthcare personals. He even
encouraged the participants to take up research on the topics discussed in this workshop. Other
dignitaries present were Mr.Mohammad Mobasshir Director Relief Hospital, Mr. Ariz Qadri CCIM
Member, and Mr. Mohammad Khalid General Secretary Institute of Social Harmony & Upliftment.
The Program was chaired by Mr. Tariq Anwar Khan Secretary; Foundation for Social Care & Mr.
Mohammad Arif, Director, Hayat Unani Medical College & Research Centre was also present at the
event.

Orientation Programme was held to interact with students of 2019-2020 batch and their parents. This programme was conducted by Dr. Zarreen Baig and presided by Director Mohd Arif.

Dr. Mohd Monis in his keynote address motivated the students, congratulated them for choosing this noble profession. He highlighted the importance of Unani Medicne globally in present scenario. He also told the academic pattern of HUMC&RC and how it differs from others colleges. Dr. Samreen Khan told the students aboit the scope of BUMS and various carrier opportunities after completion of this course. Dr. Tooba Fahad covered the historical aspect of the Unani Medicine and its basic concept in her speech. Dr. Zarren Baig told the students about rules and regulations of this college, she also introduced a Cell named “LAWV-A Light Against Women Violence” chaired by her to prevent any type of violation against women. Dr. Rafey Akhlaq highlited the role of Ilaj Bit Tadbeer and its importance in current scenario. Director Mohammed Arif in his presidential speech told the importance of medical education especially education of Muslim community. He told the parents that college is committed to provide good education but your support in inevitable.

An Extensive lecture organised by Dr Sadique Ali, head of department of Kulliyat, HUMC&RC on 24 October 2019 on the topic of Standards Operative Procedures For The Maintenance Of Equable Temperament In Different Age Group. Prof Ferasat Ali, Head of Department of Kulliyat in Ajmal Khan Tibbia College in Aligarh Muslim university , Aligarh delivered a magnanimous lecture and emphasise the importance , procedures and maintenance of Mizaj Motadil in every age group.
This programme was conducted by Dr. Zarreen Biag, Assistant professor in the department of Tahaffuzi Wa Samaji Tib, welcome address given by Director of HUMC&RC Mr. Mohammder Arif and vote of thanks given by Ms Anis Nargis Khan on behalf of whole student community.

Sports and Cultural Events were organised by literary cultural and sports committee on 18th and 19th September 2019. On 18th September, Inauguration of the event done by ….. various competitions in games like Disc throw, Jvelin Throw, High Jump, Long Jump , Race, Badminton , Volley Ball, Ludo, Carum, Chess were organised.
On 19th September various competitions in cultural events like ghazal, naat khawani, singing, mono-acting, musical chair, Bait- Bazi, Poster Making were organised. The winners of these events were provided certificates and prize. Dr. Zarreen Baig welcomed all in the programme and highlighted the importance of these events in college life. Mr. Mohammded Arif in his presidential speech congratulate all the participants especially the winners. He assured to organise more and more events in next session.

To recognise the teachers effort an honour them, the students of the college organised a beautiful programme. The students thanked teachers for their dedication in providing quality education and excellent supervision in all aspect of their life. The students showed their respect towards teachers with different quotations cards and charts etc. they presented performances related to this event. The director Mr. Mohammed Arif, appreciated the students performances and their efforts. He also congratulated the teachers for choosing the noble profession.

Breast feeding week is observed every year by world Alliance for breast Feeding Action (WABA) to mark it importance and need. The week end celebration was observed on 7th .08.2019 at HUMC&RC, organised by department of Atfal. Dr. Tooba Fahad Assistant Professor in the D/O Atfal delivered an extensive lecture on Breast feeding and its importance with power point presentation. The programme conducted by Dr. Samreen Khan and vote of thaks given by Dr. Zahid Kamal. The lecture enclosed the need of exclusive breast feeding for child development, growth and its role in prevention of health. All the teaching, non teaching faculty members, students of all Profs were attended this educational session.

On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day, Commemoration was observed on 28.07.2019 at HUMC&RC, organised by Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (TST). An inclusive lecture with power point presentation on Hepatitis delivered by Dr. Zahid Kamal , head of department of TST, which covers all the important aspect like causes, signs, preventive measures along with the ample importance of vaccination against the disease.
The programme conducted by Mohd Anas head of department of Ilmul Advia in HUMC&RC and session concluded by Mr. Mohammd Arif, Director of HUMC&RC.
All the teaching, non teaching faculty members, students of all profs were attended this educational session.

Yoga pakhwada with celebration of International Yoga Day was observed in the campus. Informative lecture by Mr. Shafeeque, well known yoga specialist, was delivered on the role and importance of yoga in maintaining health and treatment of various diseases.
Daily,in the pakhwada, Collective yoga was done by Director, students, teachers, non teaching staff in the supervision and guidance of yoga specialist.
Quiz competition about the knowledge of yoga and its role was held among students. They were given several prizes for the same.

On the occasion of Unani day various competitive events were organized with in college campus like essay writing, Quiz competition, and debates. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate their writing skills, and if you feel you need to prepare, you can write several papers on the Writemypapers.org website with experienced essayists. They write various types of papers for clients every day, which helps them improve their qualifications. Such collaboration will definitely enhance your skills.
Some students from college were sent to participate in inter-college competition which was held at Govt. State Takmeeluttib college Lucknow(STT). The students performed excellently and won several Prizes.
Dr. Zarreen Baig, Assistant Professor Department of Tahaffuzi Samaji Tib was invited there in State Takmeeluttib college Lucknow(STT) as a resource person to deliver her speech on the Role of Hakeem Ajmal Khan in women education and empowerment.
Extensive Lecture
An extensive lecture was delivered by world known orator Hakeem Mr. Obaidullah Beg on the importance and usefulness of unani single drugs in the treatment of various chronic diseases. He highlighted the importance of identification of crude drugs, explained various prescriptions and also answered the audience questions. He also provided demo of various regimes of Ilaj bit tadbeer.
College professors, Doctors, Students from different colleges, well known dignitaries from medical fraternity of Lucknow attended the programme.
The participants were provided certificate for attending this knowledge-full session.
Chairman of the foundation Mr. Zaheer Ahmed Siddiqui presided the event. He welcomed the Chief guest, felicitated him and presented a memento.
In his presidential address the chairman sir thanked the chief guest and the Audience and highlighted the importance of this type of lectures. He assured the audience to organize more and more lectures and CMEs in future.

On the Occasion of republic day celebration various cultural programmes were performed by students such as Speeches and Patriotic songs etc.
Flag hoisting was done by Honourable Chairman of the Foundation Mr. Zaheer Ahmed Siddiqui. He also presided the main function which was held to celebrate the occasion.
Director Mohd Arif Khan in his keynote address highlighted the importance of republic day and mentioned the struggle and sacrifices by our freedom fighters.
Honourable secretary of the Foundation Mr. Tarique Anwer appreciated the student’s efforts and their performances. He also congratulated the teachers for their kind supervision and guidance to students for preparation of this programme.
Honourable Chairman of the Foundation Mr. Zaheer Ahmed Siddiqui highlighted the importance of our own constitution. He also briefed our responsibilities towards nation as responsible citizens of this country.
Dr. Zarreen Baig and Dr. Samreen Khan supervised students for the preparation of different events for the occasion.
Mr. Abu Talha the 1st year student conducted the programme nicely and god admiration from all.
